HDR Only

HDR (High Dynamic Range) in photo editing refers to a technique used to capture and enhance the range of brightness levels in an image, from the darkest shadows to the brightest highlights. The goal of HDR is to make the final image look more natural or more visually striking, especially in situations where there is a high contrast between light and dark areas, such as a bright sky and a dark foreground.

In traditional photography, a camera might not capture the full range of brightness in a scene. Either the highlights might become overexposed (too bright) or the shadows may lose detail (too dark). HDR techniques aim to overcome this limitation by capturing multiple exposures of the same scene at different levels of brightness—usually three or more. These images are then merged in photo editing software to create a final image that has more detail in both the shadow and highlight areas.
